Mark Egan
Mark’s practice is focused on employment- and family-based immigration law. He also has a strong interest in assisting people with international adoption law and procedures.
Mark graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Political Science / Latin American Studies and was a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Air Force ROTC program. Following pilot training at Williams AFB, he worked for Singer-Link Flight Simulation at the USAF Human Research Laboratory and at McDonnell-Douglas (now Boeing) Helicopter’s Flight Simulation Center in Mesa, Arizona. Mark later returned to school and obtained his Juris Doctor from J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU in 1992.
Following law school, Mark clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge Peter Ormsby in McAllen, Texas and then entered private immigration practice with the Law Offices of Laurier B. MacDonald. After helping to start the firm’s employment-based immigration practice, he returned to Arizona to accept a position at Lewis and Roca, LLP in 1998, and later helped launch Brelje and Associates PLC, a boutique firm devoted to immigration law services to Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, local businesses, hospitals and individuals. Mark is now pursuing similar matters here at Gunderson, Denton & Proffitt, and is also working to develop an international adoption practice.
Mark enjoys camping, hiking, snorkeling, traveling in Mexico and debating the fine points of home maintenance with his three teenagers.
